Harambee Records was formed in 2008 as a venture of Harambee Community Development Initiative providing artist development and music production.  Harambee Records is an outreach venture of the Elmwood United Presbyterian Church Music Ministry featuring the musical talents of Elmwood branding the “Elmwood Total Music Experience”

G-fy-G
It’s Here, the release of the first CD Project from the “Dynamic & Anointed” G-fy-G.
“Pastor Robert N. Burkins, Sr. presents G-fy-G” is the group’s first CD release (Street Date: August 2008).  The CD features young and soulful songs from a Caribbean inspired hit “Jesus Is a Rock” to a classic gospel piece reinvented for the new generation, “Let Everything That Has Breath”.  G-fy-G’s music not only represents the black gospel experience but rather the multi-faceted levels of gospel music among people of color, from African-American to Jamaican.

G-fy-G’s stage performance demands attention due to their consistent excellence, musical versatility, and cutting-edge creativity and choreography branding them as the hottest new group in the Gospel genre in the New York Tri-State area.

Accompanying their musical abilities, the members of G-fy-G are gifted and well versed motivational speakers, bringing powerful messages to youth employing them to rekindle the passion they have for life and God.

G-fy-G will perform alongside the six-time Grammy winner CeCe Winans, at the upcoming Harambee Benefit Concert, scheduled for July 12, 2008 at the New Jersey Performing Arts Center, curtain at 7:00 p.m. Tickets, ranging in price from $35-125.00, are on sale now.  Please visit the NJPAC website at www.njpac.org for ticket information.
