Harambee Broadcast Network (HBN)
Watch. Think. Take Action.

The Harambee Broadcasting Network (HBN) is positioned as a content provider, producing online viral videos.

You can log on to the Harambee Broadcast Network and send a webisode to a friend; we can send webisodes as part of a global ministry exchange; we can send webisodes to persons in prison who are allowed web access.

These avenues support the “Across the Sanctuary, Across the Street, and Across the Sea” facet of our mission theme.  And, it allows us to reach audiences who might not be part of the traditional church-going or church-affiliated crowd.

Harambee Broadcast Network is soft-launching at the end of September, with “official” rollout January 1, 2008.  We currently have three webisode titles planned for HBN:

  1. Urban Talk hosted by Rev. Robert N. Burkins, Sr.
         a. Elmwood, Community Matters, Interviews (Ages 25-54 skewed male)
  2. HY-TV
         a. G-fy-G, Youth, Young Adults Content (13-24)
  3. Innov-Visions
         a. Women’s Empowerment Initiative Content (18-54)

HBN is currently partnered with Visiontube.tv which is an online multi-channel platform. Our mission is to offer the most compelling and relevant content from a black-Christian perspective.
